Enjoying a popular debut in 2023, the Kawasaki KFX90 junior quad continues for 2024 largely unchanged and easily distinguished as updated by a new graphic approach.

Aggressively styled to echo larger, adult focused KFX quad machines – as well as drawing influence from the two-wheeled KX motocross range – the KFX sports lime green racing bodywork complete with tall front fenders and a Kawasaki branded handlebar pad.

Appealing to junior off-roaders, the KFX90 includes some great safety features delivering parental reassurance allowing safe and structured use including a electric starting that relies on a removable key so riding excursions can be controlled by a responsible adult.  Also, there is a clever “starter lock-out” safety feature meaning the KFX90 can only be started with the handlebar-controlled front and rear brakes fully applied.

The KFX90 gets it drive from an 89.9cc four stroke CVT equipped engine meaning the only thing junior has to concentrate on is what appropriate speed to travel at, and when to apply the brakes leaving the continuously variable transmission to do the rest. Additionally, there is a throttle stop mechanism that can be pre-set so that learning to operate the KFX90 can be undertaken in a step-by-step manner.

Of special note are the footboards and the lighting array. Deep non-slip material equipped footboards and compact bodywork styling ensure that the riders' feet remain inboard and safe at all times, while LED front accent lights and a large rear light are bright, easy to see and reassuringly low maintenance.

Underpinned by a highly competent and rigid steel cradle chassis with high quality independent adjustable A-arm front suspension and swingarm rear suspension, the 2024 KFX represents a great introduction to both powered off-road vehicles and Kawasaki easily able to easily conquer Tougher Terrains and Bigger Adventures!
